Going into the 2023 season, UNC has a chip on its shoulder. As head coach explained, this is a chip that’s been on their shoulder since the 2021 season. “It’s very similar, except they’re older. Most of them are back, and last year they had the chip on their shoulder. They were coming off six wins and an awful bowl game against South Carolina." (On3.com)
