No. 23 Boston College brought the nation’s top-ranked pass efficiency defense to North Carolina on Saturday, but that still wasn’t enough to contain wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, who exploded for 170 yards and four touchdowns on 11 touches in leading the Tar Heels to a 45-24 victory. “I’m not an English major, but I think ‘fantastic’ would maybe describe it,” UNC head coach Butch Davis said about Nick’s performance.
