Max Carlson, Tomas Frick Selected On Day Three Of MLB Draft

Two UNC teammates were selected Tuesday on day three of the 2023 MLB Draft. Pitcher Max Carlson was taken in the 12th round by the Boston Red Sox, while the New York Yankees drafted catcher Tomas Frick in the 15th round. The teammates were the second and third players from UNC drafted this year. Mac Horvath was the Orioles' second-round pick.
