Sexton, Nicks team up to ignite Heels

Cam Sexton teamed with wide out Hakeem Nicks to ignite an outburst that saw the Tar Heels outscore Boston College by 38 points over 42 minutes to produce a 45-24 upset of the ACC’s Atlantic Division co-leader at Kenan Stadium. The Laurinburg resident threw a career-best three touchdown passes, all to Nicks who also added a rushing score as North Carolinabecame bowl eligible for the first time since 2004.
