Fire on West Franklin Street Damages Mediterranean Deli, Surrounding Businesses


The Chapel Hill Fire Department responded to a fire in a popular downtown block on Saturday afternoon, which damaged a popular restaurant and other local businesses around it. A tweet from the department at 3:15 p.m. said that the 400 block of Franklin Street was closed between Mallette Street and Kenan Street when firefighters first arrived. (Chapelboro.com)
