Posted Oct 29, 2008
UNC's Layne Brodie has been selected as the ACC Women's Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week. The league recognition is a career first for her and it marks the second straight week a Tar Heel women's swimmer has won the award. Megan Steeves won the award a week ago. Brodie, a freshman from Atlanta, Ga., was the leading point-winner at last weekend's Lady Mustang Dallas Classic which featured six teams from the CollegeSwimming.com Top-25 poll.
