In-state schools make final push for recruits


An 18th player committed to the Tar Heels last week in West Craven High wide receiver . Boyd, from Gastonia’s Ashbrook High, is regarded as the state’s top receiving prospect. He’s narrowed his list of options to Illinois, Missouri, N.C. State, North Carolina and Oklahoma.
