Linebacker Cedric Gray, UNC Football’s ‘Other’ All-American

Quarterback Drake Maye, who last season became UNC’s first ACC Player of the Year since Lawrence Taylor in 1980, clearly is the most well-known player on the 2023 Tar Heels. UNC does have another All-American, though, and Cedric Gray’s job also is essential to the Tar Heels’ goal of winning the program’s first ACC championship since 1980.
