UNC’s Depth Takes Hit With Injury to Cornerback Lejond Cavazos


UNC’s depth has taken a preseason hit at cornerback, with backup out due to a lower-body injury that will require surgery. Cavazos was leaning on crutches and not participating Tuesday, as the Tar Heels held their sixth practice of training camp and worked out in full pads. Sources told Inside Carolina he suffered a right-knee meniscus injury. (Inside Carolina)
