The NCAA has made significant progress improving the student-athlete experience by means of name, image and likeness and the transfer portal. Any goodwill tends to be short-lived due to asinine and obtuse actions, such as the organization’s decision to deny North Carolina wide receiver Tez Walker’s waiver request for immediate eligibility this season.
