In what was already considered a stacked Hall of Fame class, late NC State head coach Jim Valvano is just one day away from becoming a member of an elite club. Valvano enters the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Saturday as a contributor to the game, 40 years after the “Cardiac Pack” made their Cinderella run toward the 1983 National Championship.
