U.S. Amateur Run Ends In Round Of 16 For Three Tar Heels


Virginia's Ben James made a birdie to win the first extra hole to defeat 2023 ACC Player of the Year David Ford of UNC in the U.S. Amateur round of 16 Thursday in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. Carolina's Maxwell Ford was eliminated 5&4 in the round of 16 by Florida's Parker Bell. And LSU's Connor Gaunt defeated , 3&2, in the round of 32. (GoHeels.com)
