Gregg Popovich pays tribute to Dean Smith

This weekend, Gregg Popovich had some time to reflect on his career as he paid tribute to legendary UNC basketball coach Dean Smith while speaking to the media. Popovich told the story of how he took a sabbatical from coaching in his late 20s. The objective was to spend a year alongside Smith at UNC and Larry Brown (another Tar Heel) at Kansas.
