T.J. Yates returns to Tar Heels practice, but status is uncertain
Posted Nov 1, 2008
Quarterback T.J. Yates is back at practice with North Carolina's football team but there are no guarantees he'll be back as a starting quarterback when the nationally ranked Tar Heels face visiting Georgia Tech. Cam Sexton has been providing steady play at quarterback since Yates' broken ankle Sept. 20 against Virginia Tech. The Tar Heels are 3-1 with Sexton as a starting, plus he helped rescue the team in a relief appearance at Miami.
