Golden Gophers Down Tar Heel Swimming & Diving


North Carolina's men's and women's swimming and diving teams fell to the nationally-ranked Minnesota aquatic teams Saturday at the Maurice J. Koury Natatorium. Carolina's No. 13 men fell to No. 9 Minnesota in a 220-146 decision. The No. 15 Tar Heel women fell to the No. 11 Golden Gophers 217-151. Senior Erica Schiffler took first place on the one-meter diving board with a score of 258.75, sweeping both boards during the two-day competition. (Tar Heel Blue)
