Gene Chizik has a chip on his shoulder entering football season

UNC football coach Mack Brown recently half-joked about giving defensive coordinator Gene Chizik a hard time over the Tar Heels’ struggles on that side of the ball last season. "He has a huge chip on his shoulder. He’s tired of hearing how bad we are, and I like that," Brown said. "I throw it out there every now and then just to make him more mad."
