UNC Field Hockey Celebrates Senior Day With 9-0 Win

Seniors Kate Scholl and Britt van Beek were among six Tar Heels to score goals Sunday as the North Carolina field hockey team celebrated Senior Day with a 9-0 win over Davidson at Francis E. Henry Stadium. Sixth-ranked UNC improved to 14-4 with a win in its final game of the regular season. The visiting Wildcats dropped to 6-13. "I'm very proud of our group," UNC coach Karen Shelton said. "I think we honored the seniors today by playing so well."
