North Carolina stressed the need to go deep into its roster at each position group throughout preseason training camp, and the true value of depth and connectivity was apparent in Saturday’s 31-17 win against South Carolina. "We played better as a team tonight, and our staff worked better as a group trying to help each other," coach Mack Brown said.
