Mack Brown said the Tar Heels “got some respect back that we lost," referring to last season’s finish, when the Tar Heels dropped their final four games after putting together a 9-1 start. The respect angle has been a motivational device this season. "Defense, that’s the best we’ve played since we’ve been back, for sure. They were aggressive as advertised." (Inside Carolina)
