Drake Powell zooms up ESPN rankings, five other UNC men’s and women’s basketball recruits fall

While Drake Powell continues to rise in the ESPN rankings, the other five UNC men's and women's basketball recruits all dropped. ESPN has changed Powell from a 4-star to a 5-star and elevated him from 34th in the Class of 2024 to 12th. Ian Jackson dropped from 12th to 17th. Five-star center Blanca Thomas fell from 26th to 29th in ESPN’s 2024 rankings.
