North Carolina Survives Appalachian State Again

It’s never a simple proposition for UNC against Appalachian State. The 17th-ranked Tar Heels survived Appalachian State in another dramatic affair, this time prevailing 40-34 in double overtime on Saturday at Kenan Stadium. Drake Maye’s 13-yard touchdown keeper provided the game-winning score, breaking a 34-34 tie in the second overtime period. (Inside Carolina)
