North Carolina running back Omarion Hampton rushed for 234 yards and 3 touchdowns, and Drake Maye's 13-yard run in the second overtime helped pull the Tar Heels to victory in a 40-34 double-overtime win against the Appalachian State Mountaineers on Saturday night in Chapel Hill.
