Magnolia View Farm, located five miles from Kenan Stadium, is home to one of the longest-running traditions in UNC athletics history—a Dorset horned sheep with painted-Carolina blue horns named Rameses. For four generations, the Hogan family have been caretakers of the live Ram mascot, which first appeared at a UNC sporting event in 1924.
