No. 1 UNC Men's Golf Claims Title At Olympia Fields

The UNC men's golf team won its first tournament of the 2023-24 season without hitting a shot Sunday as rain forced cancellation of the final round of the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational. No. 1-ranked UNC held the 36-hole lead by six strokes over Texas. The Tar Heels shot 11-under-par 269 Saturday, setting the 18-hole tournament record. (GoHeels.com)
