UNC listed as No. 4-ranked public university in the country

UNC is the No. 4-ranked public university in the country and No. 22 overall in the 2024 U.S. News & World Report Best College rankings. Carolina, which has been among the top 5 public universities for more than 22 years, moved up one spot from last year. UNC tied for 22nd among public and private institutions – up seven positions from a year ago.
