UNC Defensive Coordinator Gene Chizik Sees Defense Finding More Comfort

North Carolina’s defense is showing improvement in production and depth during Gene Chizik’s second year as defensive coordinator. In the 31-13 win over Minnesota on Saturday, the Tar Heels held an opponent under 20 points for the second time in three games. Across all of last season, UNC only accomplished that once (41-10 vs. Virginia Tech).
