Tobin Heath's Goal Lifts Tar Heels Into ACC Women's Soccer Semifinals


tallied the lone goal of the game as the second-ranked UNC women's soccer team defeated Miami 1-0 in the quarterfinals of the 2008 ACC Tournament. Heath's goal in the 66th minute, off an assist by sophomore forward , allowed the Tar Heels to move on to the ACC Tournament semifinals for the 21st successive year. UNC will meet Boston College in the ACC semifinals Friday at 5 p.m. at Wake Med Soccer Park. (Tar Heel Blue)
