Jalil Bethea, the No. 7 overall prospect in the 2024 basketball recruit rankings, committed to the Miami Hurricanes on Wednesday. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Warminster (Pa.) Archbishop Wood chose Miami over Kansas and Villanova. "I feel like Miami was the best fit for me out of all of the schools," Bethea said as to why he chose the Canes.
