Davis, Cutcliffe not interested in 'Volunteering'

North Carolina football fans might as well get used to it. The more Butch Davis wins with the Tar Heels, the more his name is bound to come up for other high-profile coaching vacancies. Now that Phil Fulmer is officially on his way out at Tennessee, it figured to be only a matter of time until Davis was mentioned as a possible replacement there. But not any more. On Tuesday, the UNC coach ended the speculation before it ever started.
