No. 2 UNC Field Hockey Blanks Wake Forest, 3-0

The No. 2 UNC field hockey team earned its second consecutive ACC shutout Friday, beating host Wake Forest 3-0 to improve to 6-1 and 2-0 in ACC play (Highlights). On Friday, in the first ACC road game of the season, the Tar Heels got the only goal they'd need just before halftime. Captain Katie Dixon scored on a penalty corner in the 27th minute.
