T.J. Yates slowly making his way back from ankle injury
Posted Nov 7, 2008
T.J. Yates has kept himself focused on the gameplan each week even as he watched from the sideline with an ankle injury for No. 19 North Carolina. His body is finally starting to catch up. Yates went down with a broken left ankle in the loss to Virginia Tech in September, an injury that was expected to keep him out for at least six weeks. Now he's back doing limited work in practice and inching closer to being ready to play as a backup.
