UNC defeated Syracuse 40-7 on Saturday. The Tar Heels were led by Drake Maye, who completed 33 of 47 passes for 442 yards with 3 touchdowns. Receiver Nate McCollum caught 7 passes for 135 yards. Defensively, the Tar Heels were led by linebacker Cedric Gray with 8 tackles. Here is what Gray, Maye, Tez Walker, and Tomari Fox said afterward.
