On Sustainability Day at UNC, the Tar Heels sustained brilliant play for almost 60 minutes before Mack Brown ordered coordinators to empty the bench in a game that was long ago over. Even Sam Howell's play on Thursday Night NFL permitted him to be recognized on the field with the 2022-23 Patterson Medal as the university’s best student-athlete. (Chapelboro.com)
