How Elliot Cadeau will help UNC Basketball improve historically low assist numbers

UNC’s 397 assists in the 2022-23 season are the Tar Heels’ worst total since the program began tracking the stat in 1968. Enter freshman guard Elliot Cadeau, who reclassified to join UNC a year earlier than expected. The 11th-ranked recruit nationally in the 2023 class, Cadeau is No. 2 among point guards in the class and an "elite passer and playmaker."
