UNC Men's Golf Wins Williams Cup, David Ford Wins Medalist Honors


Tar Heel junior David Ford made an 8-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole Tuesday to win medalist honors and UNC won the Williams Cup at the Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington, N.C., for the third straight season. UNC won the team title by 18 strokes over Auburn. The Tar Heels are ranked No. 1 in the country by the coaches and No. 2 by Golfweek. (GoHeels.com)
