Tar Heels are 6-0 for Just the Tenth Time in Football Program History
Posted Oct 17, 2023
For just the tenth time in UNC’s 136-year football history, it has won the first six games of its season. Ranked No. 10 in the nation, the Tar Heels are off to their best start since 1997, the final season of current head coach Mack Brown’s first stint at UNC. This is just the fifth time North Carolina has been 6-0 since 1948, which was Charlie Justice’s junior year.
