Practice makes (almost) perfect for UNC

Instead of taking it easy following their big win against Boston College on Oct. 25, coach and his players got right back to work preparing for Georgia Tech. Saturday, the fruits of that labor paid off as UNC manhandled the Yellow Jackets 28-7. Although all three phases of the game contributed to the victory - including an offense highlighted by becoming the school's all-time leading receiver with 2,472 career yards - It was the defense that got the game ball.
