Parity? Hilarity: Looks like all Tar Heels
Posted Nov 9, 2008
Parity reigns in college basketball. Anybody can beat anybody. Nobody can beat Somebody. George Mason can crash the Final Four, Davidson can get to the Elite Eight and I don't have the space to list all the surprise visitors to the Sweet 16. That I understand. This I don't understand: If the college basketball world is truly flat, why can't I find anybody with the vision (or courage) to pick anyone other than North Carolina as the No. 1 team in the nation? If anything is possible, why isn't that possible?
