Uncharacteristic Play Dooms UNC Football In Upset Loss To Virginia

North Carolina's coach Mack Brown cautioned the 6-0 Tar Heels against playing from a place of contentment. He recounted his well-known “poison cheese” story to players and coaches during meetings. He made it a point all season to critique wins as if they were losses. But on Saturday, Brown’s worst fears were actualized in a 31-27 loss to the lowly Cavaliers.
