Dwight Jones calls first game 'a blessing'
Posted Nov 10, 2008
Dwight Jones said that he has had family and friends at every North Carolina home football game this season. He swore none of them ever gave him grief for not getting in the game. In Saturday's 28-7 victory against Georgia Tech, the former standout receiver at Cummings High School gave his cheering section something to make noise about, taking the field for a series late in the fourth quarter. "It was just a blessing to get in," Jones said.
