UNC freshman point guard Elliot Cadeau is the ACC Preseason rookie of the year in voting announced Thursday. Fifth-year center Armando Bacot is Preseason All-ACC first team for the third straight season, finishing second to Duke’s Kyle Filipowski for Preseason ACC Player of the Year. No. 19 Carolina is picked to finish third behind Duke and Miami.
