ACC’s basketball coaching titans have retired. Now the league must adjust
Posted Oct 28, 2023
Big ACC basketball coaching names have retired in UNC’s Roy Williams in 2021, Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski a year later, and Syracuse's Jim Boeheim this spring. That leaves the ACC with no Hall-of-Fame coaches for the first time in more than two decades, only one coach with a national title, and seven schools led by coaches in place three years or fewer.
