UNC Hockey Booster Club acquires land in Chapel Hill to build permanent arena


The North Carolina Tar Heel Hockey Booster Club has reached an agreement to acquire land in Chapel Hill as part of the first phase of building a permanent home for the UNC ice hockey team, the club told WRAL. The 3.99 acres is located within the Carraway Village Development just off of I-40, about five miles from the center of the University campus. (WRAL Sports Fan)
