Carl Torbush, former UNC head football coach and defensive coordinator, passes away at age 72


Former UNC head football coach has passed away at age 72. The news was announced by East Tennessee State, the final university where Torbush coached. At Carolina, Torbush was a candidate for the 1997 Broyles Award, given annually to the nation's top assistant coach. He was promoted to head coach after 's departure to Texas. (Athlon Sports)
