Walter Davis was a six-time NBA all-star with the Phoenix Suns, the NBA rookie of the year and has his number retired by the franchise. Davis is considered one of the best shooters of all time for the UNC Tar Heels’ program and hit an iconic game-winning shot to beat Duke. He’s also the uncle of University of North Carolina head coach Hubert Davis.
