Reigning NCAA field hockey champion UNC rolls to first-round victory over William & Mary

In the first round of the NCAA tournament, No. 1 seed North Carolina looked like the dominant field hockey program it has been for years. Paityn Wirth scored two goals and Katie Dixon added a goal and an assist as the Tar Heels rolled to 6-1 victory Friday over William & Mary (Highlights). UNC will play Sunday against the winner of Rutgers and Harvard.
