Chris Hirth has had his hands full as first-year UNC trainer

Chris Hirth swears there wasn't a moment of panic when Tyler Hansbrough came to him complaining of pain in his right shin. Hirth is North Carolina's head athletic trainer. Dealing with injuries is what he's paid to do. "It's why I'm here, to a certain degree -- to help manage those situations," Hirth said. Still, there's no question Hirth has been thrown into the fire in his first season as the Tar Heels' basketball trainer.
