North Carolina to face West Virginia in Duke’s Mayo Bowl in Charlotte

North Carolina’s football season will end where it started, at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium. The Tar Heels will play in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 27, against West Virginia (8-4) after opening the season with a 31-17 victory over South Carolina in Charlotte. This will be the third meeting between the Tar Heels and the Mountaineers.
