'Nervous' Hubert Davis Earned His Chops With the New York Knicks


"The last place I wanted to be picked was the New York Knicks. I saw them in the playoffs, and I was like, ‘they’re going to break me in half," jokingly recalled Monday. The Knicks were as physical as the rules allowed. "I was like, ‘those look like some of the meanest guys in the world.' I was really nervous about being part of that team." (Tar Heel Illustrated)
