UNC remains at No. 9 in AP Top 25 men’s basketball poll after loss to UConn


North Carolina held the No. 9 spot in the latest Associated Press Top 25 men’s basketball poll after the Tar Heels (7–2) gave No. 5 UConn a good game on Tuesday in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden before losing 87–76. They face another ranked team when they play No. 14 Kentucky at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in Atlanta at the CBS Sports Classic. (Tar Heel Tribune)
